Want to be part of the festival kinetik? here's your chance!
Festival Kinetik t-shirt design contest
the contest is open to all (some kind of knowledge in printing material could help), you only have to send before saturday September 27 your proposal to this email with "t-shirt design contest" in the topic of the email. The winning concept will be decided by the Festival Kinetik team. The winner will receive for is work a full access festival pass + a t-shirt with is winning graphic.
The rules :
- The front art must include festival kinetik logo and math formula
- The back art must include festival kinetik name and dates and must leave place for the festival bands line up and sponsor logo. Art can be planned to be behind the text (see example)
- Proposal must only include 2 color (same for the front and back side) and if possible use the festival kinetik 2009 colors template (blue and orange)
- Proposal must be send in one of those formats :
- Illustrator collapsed format .AI or .EPS

jpg 300 dpi CMYK with two separated file with one color in each

PSD format with collapsed layer per color with no background color.
- Printing size must be a maximum of 15 inches wide by 24 inches high.
We are trying to make official the final line up in the next 2 weeks, as soon as the bands are 100% confirmed. Tickets sale should fallow final bands confirmation.

The wait is over: Kinetik Productions is glad to announce the lineup for the second edition of the Festival Kinetik bringing artists from around the world :
After the success of the first edition, the Festival Kinetik will be held once more at Usine C, in Montreal, Canada, with a solid stream of events running from May14th to17th 2009.
Check for updates as more artists are to be unveiled. For a complete rundown of the biggest electronic musical festival in North America. You will find further information, addition on the lineup, launch dates for the ticket and packages sales in the next weeks.
First of all, the Kinetik Crew would want to thanks everyone that made the 2008 edition of the festival Kinetik possible a big thank you. All the bands, Dj's, afiliated Music Labels, Tech crew, Drivers, Runner, Usine C staff, Sponsors and other persons involved, visitor / music lovers from all over the world, without you, this first edition would not have be possible.
The expectetions where high, with the first edition of the bigger's north american electro-industrial festival, but you came in big numbers. With more than 2400 total entries during the 2008 edition, you shown to everyone that north america could held this kind of event for music lovers from all over the world!
Stay tune for the 2009 line up announcement and web site re-launch! We will start to put online the preliminary confirm line up on August 08.
