Note that the only exceptions are with the diamond passes that were purchased prior to April 10, 2009. These are the only passes that were mailed out.
If (and when) problems happens with the shipping, we will keep the process smooth and rolling, because we keep track of every transaction at all times and will have a complete list of passes purchased online at the door

Only 2 days before the festival !! As mentioned last friday, Friday and Sunday night advance sales are now finished. Because of that, we have also stop sales on all passes for the festival. Thursday and Saturday tickets are still available for advance sales. We do have some tickets left for the Friday and Sunday nights (less than 100 at this time) that will be on sale starting on wednesday afternoon only at Kinetik Festival Usine C tickets outlet until sold out.

The DVD features thunderous performances and previously unavailable footage from The Horrorist, Ascii Disko, Headscan,Funker Vogt, Memmaker, TERRORFAKT, Iszoloscope, This Morn' Omina, Feindflug, Sonar and countless others. You also get a taste of the festival environment with back-stage footage, crowd shots, and artist interviews. The result is superb, the quality is amazing, and the package proves that the Kinetik Festival is the place to be in May in North America.

we are please to announce that the saturday "off-festival EBM Night" for the ones that are in town and not into noise music is now confirmed on Saturday May 16! Come to Bar L'Alize, at only 2 corner from Usine C at 900 Ontario E. to dance to the best EBM music with dj Arketype and with a guest spot from Dj Mr.Black. Door are at 11:30pm (there is a none related show before) and cover is at 4$ or free for the one with Diamond Passes. But don't forget, main area of the festival is open to all starting at 2pm if you want to visit the merch tables and grab some "industrial burger" :P
Note: We do encourage you to stay at Usine C on Saturday, since there will be lot's of alcohol... food.. merch tables.. music by some of the best noise/idm djs and the actions should be there for sure :)
This night is made to be an addition to the festival noise night to offer a wider spectrum of music genre to please everyone taste, not to be again the main Saturday Noise night that will be a hell of a good night !!

BBQ area + alcohol at the festival ::
We are happy to confirm that the festival will have an official "industrial" BBQ area directly in the garden area of the Usine C. The BBQ area will be open from 2pm to 11pm each during each days of the festival. Come have a snack with us! Menu of the BBQ will be burger, hot-dog, vegetarian options and more... The BBQ area and merch table area will be open to all during the festival, tickets are not necessary to get access to those sections of the festival.
Also it is confirmed, there will be alcohol in the main room of the festival this year! so event more reason to come have fun with us! (you need to be 18+ to get alcohol at the festival).

Synthnation is a documentary about the minds and hearts of those so-called “weirdos dressed in
black.” It explores the ostracized world of underground industrial music and lifestyle through the shared experiences of people that would commonly not associate with one another. It also investigates the inner-workings of rare musical giants and geniuses such as Front 242 and VNV Nation among others. Synthnation proves itself to be the industrial daddy of documentary.
As a special KINETIK FESTIVAL EXCLUSIVE, all copies of Reformation 01 sold at the festival will come with a limited edition VNV NATION POSTER (while supplies last). This offer is not available anywhere else!! Come by the Storming the Base merchandise table to get yours!

Everything is going according to plan and we just can’t wait! However we are sad to announce that Unternull and Headscan will not be able to join us this year due to unforeseen changes in their schedule.
They have both prepared a little word to keep everyone in the loop:

cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances that prevent one member from
attending the event.

That Spring smell is in the air, and with it we know that Montreal's Kinetik Festival is just around the corner! For years now, Kinetik (formerly Coma) has been a growing and significant part of Canada's industrial scene, and 2009 cements the Kinetik Festival's status as North America's premier festival for dark EBM, noise, industrial, and synthpop music. Not only has the festival expanded to include a fourth day, but this year will see several big name acts hit the stage including Project Pitchfork, Das Ich, Winterkalte, Ayria, Grendel, Assemblage 23 and more!
Artoffact Records presents the official Kinetik Festival Volume 2 double-CD compilation which includes 32 killer tracks from the festival's world class line-up. Nearly half the tracks are compilation exclusives, while several more are hard-to-find rarities. Interlace, Noisex, Memmaker, Life Cried, DYM, Assemblage 23, and many more provide exclusives. Several other big name acts are remixed by the likes of Imperative Reaction, Combichrist, Suicide Commando, Blank, and Ashbury Heights. The compilation will be strictly limited, and as Volume 1 sold out shortly after 2008's festival, expect Volume 2 to be snapped up quickly too.

Shipping on all remaining Diamond passes (sale up to this date), all misplaced items (thanks to the "good" postal service) and all item that needed change on the name/address will be made this week end. We where waiting to receive final confirmation on the lost item from the postal service, so we don't double send any item and now we will be able to process everything. In any circumstances, event if you do not receive your purchase in time for the festival, we will have at the door all paypal transaction + all requests made via email in back up to be sure you get it at the door of the venue in worse case. Good news! we just got the confirmation from the venue that the Kinetik Festival will be an all ages event. Since the Usine C have amphitheater permits rather than a
bar licence, minors will be admitted in the hall. But, you could be asked for an identification card in order to
purchase alcoholic beverages. Moreover, any minor discovered consuming alcohol
would be expulsed from the premises immediately.
Also please note that the tickets and passes are now available in Montreal area directly at Boutique Cruella,Psychonaut, Usine C (for tickets only) and on Admission office (tickets only with extra fees). Visit the tickets section of the website for more information's.

We are now able to announce the updates that has been running around on the Internet for a while. After more than 2 months of talking directly with Skinny Puppy, even if we did have a signed contract from there booking agency since September 2008, due to changes on Skinny Puppy side schedule, both parties agreed to cancel Skinny Puppy participation to the festival. It is a sad news for all the Kinetik team, and be sure we did everything we could to make this show happen. It is with the same resigment that Skinny Puppy decided to cancel there participation to the festival. We will soon post an official letter from Nivek Ogre explaining this change and that the cancellation is not due to the festival team or Skinny Puppy fault.
We hope that the festival line up with more than 35 acts is still enough to please everyones tastes, the festival was never intended to be a "one" band festival, but more a whole experience. For anyone that has bought tickets/passes to the festival and wish to receive an refund on there purchase, please send an email to sales@festival-kinetik.net along side the full transaction confirmation ID received from the paypal transaction confirmation email.
On the good news side, we are pleased to announce the addition of Project Pitchfork to the thursday night line up for a first show in Canada/USA in over 10 years. Important note, this addition is not made to replace Skinny Puppy, since we think no one can pretend to replace them. But we do think that Project Pitchfork will bring a nice addition to the festival line up.
Also, now that the final line up is available and that all the changes has been made, all diamond passes / T-shirt purchases will start this week end and should be delivered to you in the next 10 to 20 open days (depending on where you are located). We will send a confirmation email to everyone before sending the purchases to you to confirm your address and update everyone on the line up changes.
Tickets will also be available in Montreal this week end and in the others cities on the fallowing week (check the tickets page for updates)

Festival Kinetik t-shirt design contest
the contest is open to all (some kind of knowledge in printing material could help), you only have to send before saturday September 27 your proposal to this email with "t-shirt design contest" in the topic of the email. The winning concept will be decided by the Festival Kinetik team. The winner will receive for is work a full access festival pass + a t-shirt with is winning graphic.
The rules :
- The front art must include festival kinetik logo and math formula
- The back art must include festival kinetik name and dates and must leave place for the festival bands line up and sponsor logo. Art can be planned to be behind the text (see example)
- Proposal must only include 2 color (same for the front and back side) and if possible use the festival kinetik 2009 colors template (blue and orange)
- Proposal must be send in one of those formats :

After the success of the first edition, the Festival Kinetik will be held once more at Usine C, in Montreal, Canada, with a solid stream of events running from May14th to17th 2009.

First of all, the Kinetik Crew would want to thanks everyone that made the 2008 edition of the festival Kinetik possible a big thank you.
